What products are used?

All the products used are hypoallergenic, such as, Laura Mercier,Clinique, Estee Lauder, Lancôme and Christian Dior.

These premier products blend beautifully for a truly professional finish that will last all day long without re-touching*

*You may find none the less that you might have to reapply your lipstick with all that kissing!

How long will the trial take, and what is involved?

The trial is a chance for you to meet Marissa and feel confident in her ability as well as giving her the opportunity to see what styles and colours suit you.

It is very important to hear your ideas mixed with Marissa’s creative style as to achieve the finished look, which will be unique to you.

This trial usually takes approximately 2 hours giving Marissa enough time to create a hairstyle and to apply the make-up.

Will you come to me for the trial and on the day?

A date will be arranged for the trial, generally Marissa will come to you for this, or whatever is most convenient for you. On the day of your wedding Marissa will ALWAYS come to you, whether at home or at a hotel, wherever the location.

I don’t like wearing heavy make-up or any at all, why do I need to on my wedding day?

Marissa will always consider your personality when creating your look. A ‘natural’ look or a ‘barely there’ look is no problem, but what you must consider is the fact that you are hiring a professional photographer using professional equipment, such as a high velocity flash, this can make a face without any make-up disappear.

Make-Up applied by a make-up artist will enhance your features without giving you that made-up look.

Marissa is used to working with photographers and understands how to give your face the attention needed so you look perfect on the day and the photographs will reflect this.
